I wanted to see how far I could push the vintage newspaper print style into something more aggressive and modern. This piece started with a brutal subject and leaned all the way into halftone degradation ink bleed and cheap press behavior to create something that feels like it was pulled from a forgotten underground flyer.
This is not a clean illustration. The goal was to let the image break down and let the printing process become part of the design.
